Achieve Alert works with the Achieve Telecom Network to provide an integral relay closure capability that can be used to trigger emergency notifications with specific follow-up directions and instructions to all user devices on the network. An example of an expected use would be for the statewide or local emergency management agency and officials to initiate a visual and/or audio alarm to all computers in all schools on the network with a follow-on text message that directs and implements the initial emergency response.
Additional examples of actions that are supported by Achieve Alert are:
- The direct use of the public address systems in all buildings on the network;
- Delivery of video, audio and text files to direct all users; and
- Direct use of the cable TV stations inside of the buildings on the network.
Another key element of Achieve Alert is that it can be delivered stand-alone or as part of an AchieveXpress distance learning system - whichever is preferred.

Achieve Alert is maintained and controlled at the Achieve Telecom Network Operating Center and may be accessed for the emergency notification by one or more pre-determined agencies, for example Emergency Management Agencies and officials at the Federal, State or local level. The unique architecture and software of the Achieve Alert system provides for high levels of customization of Command and Control operations for authentication and delivery protocols to meet the specifications of the designated agencies. In addition, multiple emergency responses by scenario can be crafted for each participating user/school district on the network as required.
